I also don’t understand why is there so much hate against Bruxelles. It has its flaws, but if you’re surrounded with good people and are a minimum sociable, you can definitely have a great time.

I’ve been living here for 10 years now, know a lot of locals from Brussels.

Now, if you have a nazi-fascist mindset and can’t stand people of different colors just because they make them feel uncomfortable… yes you’re not gonna like it.

As a Belgian, I definitely agree on the fact that Brussels is a terrible, depressing and even dangerous city. I avoid it as much as possible. Flemish cities are usually cleaner, friendlier and better maintained. I wonder what made you think Belgian drivers are so rude though. Having traveled to many places, I think Belgian drivers are really OK, though not as good as the Germans, definitely better than for example the French or Italians.

Paris is like a breath of fresh air compared to Brussels. I live in Brussels and go to Paris to get away from Brussels.

True. The subway is full of unskilled, low skilled, or non-working Third World immigrants and/or their children. I remember being in a Brussels metro car and telling my wife, “Look around you, this is the future of Europe.”

Around Midi the streets are filthy, piles of garbage and the stench of piss is everywhere. The buildings are European but the people on the streets are Third World immigrants and/or their children & children’s children; apparently, dumping trash in the street is normal among these ethnic groups of people because I never see it to such an extent anywhere else in the city where the inhabitants are predominately White European (yes, I know: speaking the truth is “racist”).
