This part of my blog is focused on sharing all my past travels. I visited all described places and most of the photos were taken by me personally (if otherwise it is stated under the post). All information published comes from my travel experience, however, do not expect similar to TripAdvisor of Lonely Planet guide. Rather, my purpose was different. I wanted to draw your attention to the attitude towards travelling, to the way the travel is organized, and above all, how to make your travel inspiring and breathtaking experience. I would be most happy if my travel blog encouraged you to travel yourself.

So, enjoy reading all published posts and let me know whether you need more information about particular destinations.

Good times, bad times. The Islanders.

Good times, bad times. The Islanders.
“The island is owned by those who were determined enough to transform a pure grey rock into rich green garden- a paradise of botanists and ornithologists. When you watch the island from the western cliffs you see a chess board made of stone walls, which- when arranged in a line would be twelve thousands kilometers long- keeps this island like a fishing net and proofs that the Irish tales about being lazy is a pack of ... Self-selected Tourism? The Case of the Aran Islands.

Self-selected Tourism? The Case of the Aran Islands.
It’s not easy to come to one of the Aran Islands: Inishmore, Inishmeain or Inisheer. Although all three are well connected with mainland Ireland- as islanders call the rest of their country- the trip is demanding in terms of a mental challenge. The trip made by plane or by ferry still challenges ordinary tourists. I spoke to few locals during my stay on the island and they told me that they are pretty happy about it. What ... Read more

5 Good Reasons Why Coming To The Aran Islands

5 Good Reasons Why Coming To The Aran Islands
My primary motivation of a travel to the Aran Islands was related to the famous book of Nicolas Bouvier Journal d’Aran et d’autres lieux. This exquisite piece of literature made me think about this place and finally find a way to go there. I spent almost a week on the biggest of all islands- Inishmore- and I think I understood why Bouvier came back full of delight. There is something special about this place that ... Read more

10 Years After…
I always knew that meeting people as you go is probably the most important part of any travel. Meeting your friends is even more so. But meeting a friend after 10 years is truly spectacular. Ten years is a long time. That’s enough to go around the world at least once. Here is my story about a very special meeting in Galway. A decade has passed since I saw Damien last time, and funny thing, it was in Italy. We had been ... Read more

Quick look at my recent trip to Ireland

Quick look at my recent trip to Ireland
Last night I got back from Ireland. I went to see the famous Aran Islands and I must admit the trip was worthy every penny! Why Ireland is worthy to visit? For many reasons and everyone has one. For me mainly because this is a country of rich and complex history, beautiful music, stunning landscapes and excellent food. Even if I didn’t have a chance to try all of it the things that I tried were great. Starting with full Irish ... Read more

4 Seasons in Ferrara. My story.

4 Seasons in Ferrara. My story.
If you read this blog regularly you have known that I am a big fan of the Italian city Ferrara. There are many reasons for that, including my personal story and lucky coincidence. I spent in this town many years. I saw it covered with snow, washed off by heavy rain, burnt with the summer sun and touched by the light spring breeze. This was truly fascinating to watch how this town evolve, react to the weather conditions, celebrate ... Read more
