This part of my blog is focused on sharing all my past travels. I visited all described places and most of the photos were taken by me personally (if otherwise it is stated under the post). All information published comes from my travel experience, however, do not expect similar to TripAdvisor of Lonely Planet guide. Rather, my purpose was different. I wanted to draw your attention to the attitude towards travelling, to the way the travel is organized, and above all, how to make your travel inspiring and breathtaking experience. I would be most happy if my travel blog encouraged you to travel yourself.

So, enjoy reading all published posts and let me know whether you need more information about particular destinations.

Is New Zealand A Trekking Destination?

Is New Zealand A Trekking Destination?
This spring was filled with short trekking breaks in different parts of Europe and it somehow made me think about New Zealand. One of the most spectacular hikes I did on the South Island was the one called Alex Knob trail. I can tell you this: there is no better view on Franz Josef majestic glacier than from this peak! This was a fantastic day and I can recommend this trail to all hikers. What is was special about it? A variety of ... Read more

New Zealand Clip

New Zealand Clip
I finally did it! It took me ages but this short clip showing New Zealand Off The Beaten Track is ready to be watched. The difficulty related to this clip was a tough choice of most beautiful scenes and sites. After a one month stay in New Zealand I had hours of recorded movies. And it was a tough choice. So many spectacular places I have seen! Hopefully the one I picked up will make you smile! Filming locations: Lake Tekapo, ... Read more

Guest Post: St. Patrick’s Day!
It’s St. Patrick’s Day today! The whole world celebrates the patron of Ireland and so do I. Ireland is a wonderful country and due to its long and turbulent history it has very particular traditions, culture, music, language and feasts. Following this important tradition of remembering the saints and patrons I am sharing few impressions from my first stay in Ireland. It’s been almost a year since I went there for ... Read more

Music and Culture in Limerick: Tour Ireland

Music and Culture in Limerick: Tour Ireland
There is no better way to visit the city as with a local. I have never been to Limerick so I’ve decided to ask for some guidelines a local company. Ireland in general and Limerick in particular have no secrets for the experts in Tour Ireland. Having read their short post about Limerick – the city full of music and culture – encouraged me to plan another visit on this awesome green island. After all, St. ... Read more

Grief is the price you pay for love

Grief is the price you pay for love
It’s always hard to find proper words in grief and mourning. Although we all have tragic events in our past we went through it is very hard to imagine what the people who lost their loved ones and their homes feel. The earthquake that hit Christchurch in February 22nd, 2011, took life of 182 people and destroyed the city. All people who lived in the city center and suburbs by that time were affected by the power of the ... Read more

New Zealand: My Regrets

New Zealand: My Regrets
Let’s make things clear: my biggest regret regarding New Zealand trip was not enough time to explore all I wanted! A month is relatively long to hanging around, get the first impression, enjoy some obvious stuff but not enough to go into details. New Zealand is amazingly rich in landscapes, wonders of nature, wilderness that I love and so many other things I haven’t seen nor experience. This is a classic regret of every ... Read more

Remembering Nicolas Bouvier

Remembering Nicolas Bouvier
I blame Nicolas Bouvier for many things. For my love for books, travel and delight with the world. I have never met him. He died sixteen years ago after a filfulling life of a traveler and a writer. Not meeting him in person is one of my biggest regrets in life. Fortunately what he left is more than we could hope for. So here is my tribute to this amazing man. I’ll share some thoughts on his first and best known book: The Way ... Read more
