This part of blog is focused on sharing most useful travel experiences with you. I spent last ten years on travelling. There were months when was travelling so much that I could go around the world twice. I was spending more time at the airports and on the plane than at home. There were weeks when in my bedroom there was always an open suitcase: partially unpacked, partially re-packed. Crazy time. And I loved every minute of it.

I’m not saying that I know everything about travelling but there are some things that I wish I knew before I travelled. It may simply make travelling more enjoyable. So, feel free to read it through and use the tips that you found useful.

It’s not ALL about whisky: Edinburgh, a weekend retreat
I normally skip this sort of activities: short stay over the weekend in a big city, but this time it was different. It was my birthday and I decided to organize a surprise trip for my husband so we could spend some time together. I wanted to make it special and, therefore, I chose a place that was new to both of us: Scotland. One of the things I took with me was a SIM card given to me by MTX Connect. It guarantees an access to the ... Read more

Why I had a great time in Lloret de Mar

Why I had a great time in Lloret de Mar
Having fun in Lloret de Mar was somehow against the odds. First, the weather was not as warm as I expected. Although I don’t mind cold, I did mind in this case because of the clothes I took (summer like dresses and sandals). Second, my phone broke down. I know! First world problems! It all confirms Murphy laws being in force, but it made me angry. Not only I had no internet connection, which was the least problem, but I also ... Read more

Why the Routine is Good

Why the Routine is Good
Over and over again the travelers argue that one of the best things about traveling is living the dream that was impossible in their daily life dominated by a routine. Every now and then the routine is blamed for the general unhappiness, dullness or even depression. Selling your house and car and starting a journey is considered not only the best antidote for this sickness but, most of the time, as an act of courage. But if you ... Read more

My Travel Plans for the Summer 2015

My Travel Plans for the Summer 2015
My mind is still on my recent travel around the world. I was reading my notes again, thinking of writing the first chapter of the book and watching the pictures I took. It will take me a while to fully understand and define all results of this long-term travel, but this should not prevent further traveling. It is a funny feeling to think about the previous travel while going on another one but there is nothing I can do about it. ... Read more
