Outdoor Activities In Western Ireland

Outdoor Activities In Western Ireland
The post-Tbex trip was packed with activities. We explored the west corner of Ireland with its wild coastline, endless pastures, picturesque hills and spectacular fjord (the one and only in Ireland). Apart of delicious local food we had an excellent opportunity to get a good sense of attractiveness of Wild West Coast. For me it was a perfect off the beaten track destination: it combines unspoiled nature with no crowds and ... Read more

Galway: soaked and happy

Galway: soaked and happy
This was my second visit in Galway this year. I enjoyed my last time here, meeting Damien and Laverne- my Irish friends- and having a wonderful weather. I wasn’t so lucky with the weather this time: it was raining and the sky was covered with dark clouds. Despite the nasty weather I had amazing time in Galway and it proves that it is worthy to visit the same place more than once. I really like this town, in every possible ... Read more

The Irish Fiddler

The Irish Fiddler
One of the reasons why I travel is meeting people. The locals, preferably, but also other travelers. My recent trip to Ireland mixed both and I consider this experience a perfect one. I’m starting to tell you the story from a meeting in Zetland Country House Hotel with an Irish fiddler. No jokes here: I really met an Irish girl who played the violin. Wonderfully. Try to imagine a day full of activities, places visited, people ... Read more

I was already getting cool in Stockholm- the first stop along the road. And then, traveling with a night train to Kiruna, Abisko or Gallivare was a terrific adventure itself. The first breath after getting off the train was freezing my lungs and was a sure sign of ... Read more

The Marmolada Glacier

The Marmolada Glacier
This track was fabulous! The views were simply stunning and in excellent weather condition we enjoyed the whole trail so much! We started from a short walk to a cable railway  in Arabba and went up to Porta Vescovo getting fantastic view towards the Marmolada Glacier. It was an early morning so we had an opportunity to watch the sheep eating their breakfast. There was no wind that day and so in the silence of the morning the sound ... Read more
